CHOPTA TREK DEoria tal

Deoria tal is a lake at a altitude of 2438 mts, which gives a spectular vision of Himalayan peaks, like Mt chaukhamba, Mt kedarnath, mt meru & mt sumeru, vaseeki groups of peaks, mt Banderpunch & a lots of unnamed snow -capped mountains. the lake also give a spectular view of mt chaukhamba, in the lake water. The reflection is amazing.

The trek to chopta (popularly known as mini Switzerland), passes through deep rhododendron forest & beautiful alpine medows. The another destination, in this trek is a chandrasilla top(4000 mts), this is the only point in the garhwal Himalayas, which gives a panoramic view of all the Himalayan peaks from kumaon Himalayan to garhwal Himalayas including mt NANDA DEVI. highest peak of India. the sunset view from chopta, make u feel great.

Day 01 : We drive to a village sari, approx 5-6 hrs drive from Rishikesh. On the way the guest view the confluence of River Bhagirath and River Alaknanda. Hot lunch enroute. On the same day. When we arrived in Sari, we have to do a small trek around 2.5 kms to the like Deoriya Tal. Dinner & overnight stay in camps.


Day 02 : Aftermorning breakfast we start trek to Chopta approx 14-15 kms around 5-6 hrs walk. On arriving, tea is served with same pakures Dinner & overnight stay in camps.

Day 03 : After morning breakfast we start trek to CHANDRASILLA Top (4000 mts.). The distance is 6 kps, when trek around 2-3 hrs, After having the view from the trek, we have to trek down to Chopta. Dinner & overnight stay in camps.

Day 04 : The day to say good by to the Himalayas. After having morning breakfast, we drive back to Rishikesh along the River Mandakini & Ganges. Hot lunch enroute.
